Bespoke Training

Tanya and traineesOur training is grounded in over 25 years experience of working creatively with conflict: with individuals, organisations and communities. The training methods we use are experiential and creative, and have been developed over years of working with diverse situations and participants on a range of conflict and communication related themes.

Please get in touch for a quote.  We strive to offer our training at a rate which is affordable for small and medium organisations because we recognise that, in this challenging climate, the skills we train are even more important for staff working with customers, service users and with each other.

We can design training courses according to your needs around any of the themes below:

  • Introduction to conflict resolution
  • Communicating for results
  • Mediation
  • Assertiveness
  • Coaching
  • Facilitating dialogue
  • Group facilitation skills
  • Dealing with prejudice and discrimination
  • Working with challenging behaviour
  • Young people and leadership

Examples and endorsements

We have provided training for a diverse range of organisations. Here is what some of our clients and trainees have said about us.

  • In April 2011 we trained the Newham Council Community Engagement team in facilitation skills:

The strengths of the training were that it was a good opportunity for the team to work together and reflect upon practices; it was well facilitated; there were lots of useful tips, new techniques and advice; there were a range of activities (different sorts of group work, activities, games etc) and a good atmosphere set for the training”

“You were professional, flexible and knowledgeable (both in delivering training as well as the subject matter) and set a good tone and atmosphere for the training. I know from colleagues here that they all enjoyed it and were impressed by the facilitation”

  • Over the last year we have delivered training for staff at Homes for Islington in facilitating participatory meetings, listening skills and presentation skills.

A knowledgeable tutor gave me knowledge and confidence”

  • In April 2011 we delivered a introduction to facilitating dialogue to students studying for the Certificate for Conflict Resolution and Mediation at the Institute for Family Therapy/Birkbeck University.

“Can we have more!? I could stay in the room for the whole night!”
