Training for Parents from Tamil Community
In April, our training team delivered an interesting workshop for parents from the Tamil community in Newham. The aims were to explore issues regarding parent’s relationships with young people at home and to develop some communication strategies which can help prevent and solve arguments between parents and their young people. The parent’s participation was really good and overall the feedback was very positive.

Alternatives Parents Group
Alternatives Parents Group invited Conflict and Change to deliver 4 workshops to their members. These were 2 hours sessions where parents had the chance to learn more about anger and conflict and develop communication and assertiveness skills in a fun and interactive way. Mums and dads shared their stories and concerns in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere knowing that their children were just next door and sometimes in the room with them. This was very interesting and fulfilling experience for Conflict and Change. We wish all the best for the parents!
