On March 10th we held an open event for local councillors to hear about the work Conflict and Change is currently doing and how it might be of benefit to them and their constituents.
Issues highlighted by councillors who attended included young people and anti-social behaviour, inter faith relations, conflicts between neighbours, widening work to newly settled communities and ensuring disabled people have opportunities as volunteers.
Members of staff shared information about the projects they work on which relate to these areas of concern, in particular Community conversations and the TRUCE 20/20 project for young people aged 16-21.
