Conflict and Change Statement on Gaza

Following an event attended by staff and volunteers on Wednesday evening, Conflict and Change would like to make the following statement:

Conflict and Change is committed to working for a fair and peaceful world for everyone.
As an organization which believes in the value of every human life we are deeply saddened by the widespread human suffering we are seeing in Gaza.
Our aim, as an organization, is to build understanding between communities, so it is especially important for us that at times of tension  we listen with empathy to each others perspectives in ways which increase understanding rather than fuelling suspicion and distrust.
One thing we can do in response to the situation  in Gaza is to try to treat everyone we come into contact with as a human being, not dehumanise them because of their beliefs or ethnicity or anything else
