On Monday 28th June Conflict & Change hosted a film evening. Participants watched “Grow your own” - an inspiring community development related feature film about how a traditional white British allotment group adapted to refugees. It was a great insight on how cultural differences shape how organisations work.
The film was followed by a structured discussion on the film’s themes led by Conflict & Change's Community Development team.
There was also time for sharing creative ideas for building bridges between communities and opportunity to learn more about our work throughout Newham.
The event was open for Conflict & Change volunteers and Newham residents, see the flier.
